Andrea Levin, founder of Making Shit Up has been in the creative industry since 1912 developing the first-ever web presence for the Titanic just before it set out on its maiden voyage.

After abruptly losing that client she began performing stand-up comedy, appearing around the country, the UK and on a bunch of now-defunct cable TV shows.

Living in San Francisco and disappointed she missed out on the gold rush of the 1850’s, Andrea seized on the opportunity be part of the 1990 dot-com boom. It all panned out and she produced online marketing campaigns for such companies as Apple, Kraft Foods, and AOL.

Eventually she ended up in Los Angeles as a staff writer on the Ellen Degeneres Show and CBS The Talk, winning multiple Emmys for writing and producing.

Next, inspired by the AMC series Mad Men (and because she looks so sharp in a suit), Andrea decided to give advertising a whirl, developing campaigns for clients such as Google Pixel, Waymo (Formerly Google’s Self-Driving Car), and Sierra Nevada.

In her spare time Andrea likes to think about getting more work.
